15. RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS
The Company’s Chief Scientific Officer and principal founder of Cellectar, Inc. and a director and shareholder of the Company, is a faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (“UW”). The Company paid $508,000 and $380,625 to UW for costs associated with clinical trial and other research agreements during the year ended December 31, 2014 and 2013, respectively. During the year ended December 31, 2013, the Company made contributions to UW totaling $187,500 for use towards unrestricted research activities.
